梯間回聲

這是是一個設置於後樓梯的四聲部裝置。利用回音的空間特性、走火通道的過渡屬性、合唱中聽與被聽見的公共性，去思考離散的意義。離別在情感上經常是難以言說，產生一種抽象的心理空間。而借鑒宗教的儀式，儀式卻是提供情感外露，集體表達，共時行動的渠道。失語是大家的共通點，而分享卻是共同出現的原因。

裝置播放著彌撒歌曲《最後的晚餐》(The Last Supper)。一個版本由 Set Tone Men 無伴奏人聲樂團用世界語合唱，其他版本則由十位已移民離港之人輕聲輪唱。觀眾參與其中，可以唱歌、述說或沉默，在過渡的時空，持續發聲和聆聽，回到儀式最基本的意思。這件作品融合了藝術家對儀式、紀念、表達、群己、 公共性等概念的思考，探討了聲音作為參與媒介的特質。

Stair Mass

This is a site-specfic four-channel sound installation was set up in the stairwell. It utilizes the spatial characteristics of echoes, the transitional nature of the fire escape, and the public nature of listening and being heard in a choir to contemplate the meaning of parting. Farewells are often difficult to articulate emotionally, creating an abstract psychological space. Drawing on religious rituals, these rituals provide channels for emotional expression, collective expression, and synchronous action. Loss of speech is a common point for everyone, while sharing is the reason for coming together.

The installation plays the mass song “The Last Supper.” One version is sung in Esperanto by the a cappella group Set Tone Men, while other versions are softly sung by ten people who have emigrated from Hong Kong. Audience members can participate by singing, speaking, or remaining silent, continuously voicing and listening in the transitional space, returning to the most basic meaning of the ritual. This work integrates the artist’s reflections on concepts such as ritual, commemoration, expression, individuality and collectivity, and publicness, exploring the characteristics of sound as a medium of participation.
