白紙最後出現的地方是中國國內的一個收容所。在一國兩制政策下，失蹤人口很難透過法律系統獲得幫助。白紙作為一位母親，無論她是任人擺佈的農村婦女，或是離家出走要自主命運的人，她選擇保持沉默可能是一種保護或對抗的形式。沉默也可能是一種對待命運的理解。
作品由聯合展覽《一個人的社會》支持，這為期兩年的項目中，每位藝術家自由選擇合作對象，以一對一的方式，進行觀察和對話，透過定期與拉康派精神分析家的討論，持續的田野與實踐工作，嘗試理解作為「人」的根本困境與當下社會現實困境交織下的人的苦難，並在此基礎上引發創作，試圖用作品打開一種理解的可能。
Pak6 Zi3 was eventually found in a detention center in China. Under the one country, two systems policy, it is difficult for missing persons to get help through the legal system. As a mother, whether she is a rural farming woman at the mercy of others or someone who runs away from home to make her own destiny, Pak6 Zi3’s choice to remain silent may be a form of protection or resistance. Silence can also be a way of understanding fate.
The work is supported by the joint exhibition ‘An Individual as Society.’ In this two-year project, each artist freely chooses their collaborators to engage in one-on-one observations and dialogues. Through regular discussions with Lacanian psychoanalysts and ongoing fieldwork and practice, they attempt to understand the fundamental human predicament intertwined with the current social realities. This understanding serves as the basis for their creative work, aiming to open up possibilities for understanding dilemmas of human existence through their art.
