這是一場集體的個人演出，探索政治性或詩意之間的界線：

在演出前的工作坊中，我以英國前首相戴卓爾夫人於1982年9月24日在北京人文大會堂前跌倒的事件為引子，討論宿命與暗示，個人的掌控與跌倒或失敗經驗之間的三重關聯。在街上，我們抽離背景，逐格重演跌倒的情境。作品最後以錄像呈現，旁白為參與者對這次演出的詮釋。在不同文化背景成長的參與者的體會使跌倒的見解複雜而立體。

Fall Down

This short film depicts a series of group/individual performances, which bridge a fine line between politics and the poetic.

In the pre-performance workshop, I used the incident of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher falling in front of the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on September 24, 1982, as a starting point to discuss the threefold relationship between fate and implication, personal control, and experiences of falling or failure. On the street, we abstracted the background and reenacted the falling scene frame by frame. The work is eventually presented as a video, with the narration provides the participants’ interpretation of this performance. The experiences of participants who grew up in different cultural backgrounds make the understanding of falling complex and multidimensional.
